Nick Wilcox's family sets up scholarship in his name
MILWAUKEE - The family of a University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee student who drowned in the Milwaukee River is setting up a scholarship in his name.
According to Ashley Luthern with the Journal Sentinel, the scholarship will be named after Nick Wilcox. Wilcox, 24, was last seen Jan. 1 outside the Irish Rec Room in Milwaukee. His body was found March 28 by two police officers, and his death has been called an accidental drowning.
To donate to the scholarship fund, the family has set up an account at any Associated Bank location or mailed to the Associated Bank, 1456 Summit Ave., Oconomowoc.
