The season brings transition, as Milwaukee comes in without starters Zach Greinke and Shawn Marcum who start 2013 in other cities.
However, they come in with the hurler who finished second in the Cy Young Award race in 2012, Kyle Lohse. He went 16-3 for the St. Louis Cardinals before coming to Milwaukee.
The season also brings in questions about Ryan Braun and the spectre of allegations involving performance-enhancing drugs, though all indications seem to show that Braun successfully has kept up his performance.
