Storm Team 4cast: Breezy Sunday with light snow

A few flakes are in the forecast for southeastern Wisconsin as a massive snow system passes just to our south. Spring lovers will be happy to miss out on the 6-10" of snow that is expected from Missouri to Indiana but we will still see close to an inch of the white stuff along the state line and near a half inch in Milwaukee. This will be more of a broom snow instead of a shoveling snow, especially in the north where only a light dusting, if that, is expected. It will stay cold with highs in the mid-30s and a stronger NE wind at 10-20 mph.
With a continuous NNE wind tonight a few lake effect flurries are possible but accumulation will be light again. Some lake effect light snow showers or flurries are still possible on Monday but totals will not be measurable.
The cloud cover and winds both decrease on Tuesday and temperatures will start to increase throughout the work week with 40s finally back in the forecast by Thursday. Easter weekend looks to be a lot closer to normal for the end of March with mid-40s anticipated. We finally found spring-like weather just in time for Opening Day!
