HARTFORD - A man has been arrested after a vandal smashed stained glass windows at a Hartford church.
It happened at the First Baptist Church in Hartford. The vandal took a fire extinguisher to the ornate windows and smashed the glass panes, but did not steal anything.
"It's a very frustrating act because the man was obviously not interested in taking anything, he was not after money. he just was mad," Reverand Michael Gordon says.
Hartford Police say the suspect admitted to doing the damage and to owning property found inside the church.
