Snowfall after snowfall is testing peoples' patience

MILWAUKEE - Commuters haven't had much to complain about this winter, until this week. But with snow about to mess up the morning and evening drives Thursday, the gripes are piling up in drifts.
The night before a big snow is time to do what you won't be able to do tomorrow.
Getting around on foot, or on four wheels, could be a major pain as the snow starts to pile up. That has parents thinking about back-up plans, if schools play it safe and shut down.
“It's hard, I guess, if school is out,” said parent Kathy Alexander. “Kids don't go to school so they stay home."
Alexander is low on gas, and patience. She is ready for a break, after a week where the snow just refuses to take a day off.
“It's been a rough commute and anxious going home every day this week,” she said.
Cindy Biesterveld's running class isn't complaining about what's about to hit. They're just trying to get ahead of the storm. And dreaming of a day when Milwaukee finally thaws out.
With four to seven inches coming our way, it could be a while before Biesterveld gets her wish. But at least they won't have to venture out in the snow tomorrow.
