WAUWATOSA - While funeral preparations are underway, authorities remain tight lipped about the investigation into Wauwatosa Police Officer Jennifer Sebena's death.
We have learned that officer Sebena's husband was taken in for questioning as a "person of interest." So far he hasn't been charged.
He was taken into custody christmas night - and many want answers as to what happened.
Officer Jennifer Sebena was found murdered in front of fire station one early Christmas Eve morning. She was shot multiple times.
Sources say that on Christmas night, investigators took Ben Sebena in for questioning.
They searched the Sebena home in Menomonee Falls, and used a dog to hunt for evidence.
People in the community are starting to feel assured that a killer is not on the loose.
"At least we know he's not just wandering around still."
Another person in the area told us, "it's nice to know it wasn't a random act of violence, per se. You know, just someone jumping a police officer out of the blue."
At this point, Sebena is only being questioned as a person of interest.
