WAUWATOSA - A city leader in Wauwatosa confirmed to TODAY'S TMJ 4 Wednesday that Benjamin Sebena was taken into custody in connection with the shooting death of his wife, Wauwatosa Police officer Jennifer Lynn Sebena.

Sebena is being held at the West Allis Police Department and is being questioned, the city leader added.

"The Division of Criminal Investigation and the Wauwatosa Police Department continue to investigate this crime," both departments said in a joint news release.  "DCI is the lead investigative agency and is working with a person of interest."

"At this time, no charges have been filed.  We continue to pursue multiple investigative leads.  This investigation is still ongoing.  We continue to believe that there is no immediate threat to the general welfare of the public."

Officer Sebena, 30, was found shot to death early Monday morning.  Her funeral is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, December 29th.
