PEWAUKEE - Snowplow drivers have spent much of the morning moving snow off roads and driveways in Southeastern Wisconsin, particularly counties west and north of Milwaukee.
Removing snow will get much harder as cooler weather comes through today.
"If the temperature drops, it's going to be really hard to plow, because you're going to be pushing ice, slipping," said plow driver Steve Whitman to TODAY'S TMJ4's Tom Murray in Pewaukee.
"It will be harder to plow. If we get snow on top of glare ice, you'll have a hard time."
He spent much of the morning in Waukesha County.
"Side streets are bad. You'll have a hard time going down. It's slush. I've seen quite a few cars in the ditch. I've seen a couple on I-94. The rest were on country roads. They were probably going too fast."
