ST. FRANCIS - Authorities in St. Francis are investigating a bank robbery that occured around noon Monday.
It happened at 37th and South Kinnickinnic.
Police are working with the FBI, trying to determine what happened.
Federal investigators tell TODAY'S TMJ4 it is currently "Bank robbery season."
A masked man wearing a winter jacket reportedly implied he had a gun, robbed the bank and ran away.
The search for the man is ongoing.
The incident comes on the heels of a rash of bank robberies across southeast Wisconsin over the past two months. Last week two men were arrested in Racine following a robbery and may be linked to 8 other similiar crimes.
