WAUKESHA- Former Milwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Francisco Rodriguez has been charged with domestic abuse.
Waukesha County sheriff's deputies arrested Rodriguez in the Town of Wales on September 18. Authorities say Rodriguez beat up his fiancee.
Rodriguez joined the Brewers in the middle of the 2011 season, and served as the team's primary setup man in 2011 and 2012.
In 2012, he threw 72 innings and had a 4.38 ERA with 72 strikeouts and 3 saves.
Rodriguez was arrested in 2010 after assaulting his father-in-law when he was with the New York Mets.
