 - Brookfield Police Chief Daniel Tushaus says the gunman, 45-year-old Radcliffe Haughton, is dead.  Tushaus believes Haughton died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

 - Authorities believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute.  Police say Radcliffe Haughton's wife had filed a restraining order against the gunman.  Sources tell TODAY'S TMJ4 the gunman's wife, Zina Haughton, is among the three killed in the shooting.

Police haven't identified anyone killed or wounded by the gunman during the shooting rampage.

Brookfield Police Chief Daniel Tushaus says all three people killed in the shooting are women.  The three women along with the gunman were found dead inside the salon.  Tushaus wasn't able to confirm the identify of those three women.  TODAY'S TMJ4 reports that the gunman's wife, Zina Haughton, is among the dead.

Brookfield Fire Chief Charlie Myers says they transported four women, aged: 22, 30, 32 and 40 to Froedtert Hospital for gunshot wounds.  Hospital officials say those four women are expected to survive.

Brookfield police believe the gunman took his own his own life.

Tushaus says the reason it took so long to determine that the gunman died was because the salon was filled with smoke when they arrived, and authorities expected an armed encounter with the suspect.  Tushaus says authorities think the suspect also started a small fire in a hallway.

Tushaus says that it is believed that the shooting stemmed from a domestic violence incident.  He says that on October 4, 2012 there was an incident involving the suspect and his wife at the salon.  Witnesses say the suspect slashed the tires of his wife's vehicle.  On October 8, the suspect's wife requested and received a temporary restraining order against the suspect.  On October 11, the suspect was served with the restraining order.  On October 18, a Milwaukee County court issued a four-year restraining order against the suspect.

The Milwaukee County Bomb Squad was called to the salon following a report of an IED.  The device turned out to be a one-pound propane tank.  It is unclear who left the propane tank in the building.
