Father of missing teen pleads for his safe return

CREATED Oct. 20, 2012

MILWAUKEE - The father of a missing Milwaukee teenager is pleading for his son's safe return.

Jose Rosado says his son, 14 year old Jose Rosado Junior, left school on Monday and never made it home.

He's an 8th grader at Audobon Middle School.

"He's a good kid. He's been doing good in school.  He had a part time job working at a car dealership. He has my DNA. He loves working.  I've taught him to work since he was a young kid," said Rosado Senior, in an emotional interview with Newsradio 620 WTMJ.

The younger Rosado and his mother moved to Milwaukee over a year ago from Florida after his parents ended their relationship.

Rosado fears his son may have gotten in with the wrong crowd in Milwaukee and questions whether he is being prevented from going home. He says he's praying that the 14 year old is ok.

"I need him in my life. He's my son. I hope they don't harm him in any kind of way and to let him go."
