OAK CREEK- TODAY'S TMJ4 is hearing more of the 9-1-1 calls from the horrific attack at the Sikh temple in Oak Creek earlier this month.
TODAY'S TMJ4's Annie Scholz reports the calls are chilling, as gunshots and panic were heard.
9-1-1 Dispatcher: "He's in a church with a gun?"
9-1-1 Caller 1: "Yeah yeah, he's shooting people. I can hear him in there shooting people."
Even Oak Creek dispatchers were shocked by what was happening inside the Sikh temple when Wade Michael Page opened fire.
The department released its 9-1-1 calls. In some, the gunshots boom in the background.
9-1-1 Caller 2: "A white guy is firing."
9-1-1 Dispatcher: "Does he have a gun?"
9-1-1 Caller 2: "(Loud shots)"
One caller stayed remarkably calm while he hid in the building.
9-1-1 Caller 3: "I'm hiding in the basement."
9-1-1 Dispatcher: "You're hiding? OK, we do have officers attempting to locate the shooter. Keep yourself safe, OK?"
In one call, a dispatcher told an officer they need all hands on deck.
9-1-1 Dispatcher: "Several victims, a victim in a front yard that we can't get to, we need an IC Roll, we need bodies quick."
As the Sikh community continues to heal, they are also preparing for a visit from First lady Michelle Obama on Thursday.
Amardeep Kaleka lost his father in the massacre. He told TODAY'S TMJ4 that no matter what Mrs. Obama says, the fact that she's showing up, says it all.
"Taking the time out to do this, that says a tremendous amount," said Kaleka. "So the words are just, I mean, they're icing on the cake, but it's what she's doing."
The first lady is making a campaign stop in Milwaukee before going to Oak Creek, where she will meet privately with the Sikh temple shooting victims and their families.
