Officials confirm identity of 20-year-old woman found dead in Kenosha park

KENOSHA- The Kenosha County Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed that 20-year-old Lashe Zalar's body was found during a brush fire at Nedweski Park earlier this month.

Investigators are trying to determine the exact circumstances surrounding her death.

Anyone with information about Zalar is asked to call Detective Josh Hecker directly at 262-605-5264.

Meantime, the Kenosha Police Department is asking that anyone who was in the area of Nedweski Park during the morning hours of July 9 and observed any activity to please call Kenosha Area Crime Stoppers at 262-656-7333 or the Kenosha Police Department Detective Bureau at 262-605-5203.

Back on July 9, Kenosha's Police and Fire Departments were called to the park after reports of a brush fire.  The Zalar's body was discovered while authorities extinguished that fire.
