Severe Thunderstorm Warning expires in southeast Wisconsin

7:00 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Sullivan says a strong thunderstorm is moving into northern Milwaukee County and the National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm near Brown Deer moving east at 30 mph.

6:45 p.m.

The Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for parts of southeastern Wisconsin has expired.

6:40 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Sullivan has canceled the Severe Thunderstorm Warning for northeastern Racine County.  The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the warned area.

6:38 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Sullivan has canceled the Severe Thunderstorm Warning for east central Waukesha County.  The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the warned area.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for southeastern Milwaukee County until 6:45 p.m.

6:31 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Sullivan says a Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for northeastern Racine and southern Milwaukee Counties until 6:45 pm

6:27 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Sullivan says a Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for east central Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties until 6:45 p.m.

6:22 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Sullivan says the Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for southeastern Waukesha, northern Racine and southern Milwaukee Counties.

This storm was located near Waukesha airport moving east at 30 mph.

The severe thunderstorm will be near Elm Grove and Milwaukee Timmerman Airport around 6:20 pm; West Allis, Milwaukee County Zoo, Wauwatosa and Hales Corners around 6:25 p.m.; West Milwaukee, Greenfield and Greendale around 6:30 p.m.; Milwaukee Hoan Bridge, downtown Milwaukee and UW-Milwaukee campus around 6:35 p.m.;. St. Francis and Milwaukee International Airport around 6:40 p.m.; Cudahy, South Milwaukee and Oak Creek around 6:45 pm.

6:00 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Sullivan has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Milwaukee County and east central Waukesha County until 6:45 p.m.

The National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a Severe Thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.
