MILWAUKEE - As rain falls on the Milwaukee area during some of Friday's morning hours, a more May-like cooldown is expected to move in and remain through the weekend.
"The boundary line between warm moist air and cooler drier conditions finally begins pushing through today sending our temperatures into a slow decline over the next several days," said Storm Team 4Caster Scott Steele.
"Readings will go from near 80 degrees Wednesday and Thursday into the upper 50s to near 60 degrees for the weekend."
Today will also continue a long stretch of days where showers and storms are expected.
"Skies will range from partly to mostly cloudy today through the weekend with the potential for some scattered showers or thunderstorms, though there will be many dry hours in most locations each day."
