Mostly sun, temps near 70 in Milwaukee on Tuesday
MILWAUKEE - People in Milwaukee might get their best chance to enjoy sunshine and warmth all week with the conditions coming to our area on Tuesday.
"Today promises to be a dry and warmer day, perhaps the best balance of the work week with weak ridging allowing for the quiet conditions and some sunshine," said Storm team 4Caster Scott Steele.
However, Scott tells us that the sunshine may be short-lived with the rain and storms that are on our way.
"The much warmer and moisture filled air mass which has been locked to our south finally progresses northward. The warm front will trigger showers and thunderstorms later tonight and tomorrow."
The one plus, if you like heat: temperatures in our area will rise to very un-early May levels.
"Temperatures will soar into the 70s to near 80 degrees Wednesday through Friday with more rounds of rain and storms as that front meanders in our region."
