Democratic gubernatorial candidates to participate in town hall forum Monday

CREATED Apr. 23, 2012

RACINE- Democrats trying to defeat the governor are also campaigning against each other.

They'll all attend a candidate forum Monday night.  Tom Barrett, Kathleen Falk, Doug La Follette and Kathleen Vinehout will take questions at a town hall meeting starting around 6:30 p.m.

Time is running out for the four Democratic candidates trying to knock off Governor Walker in the historic recall election.  The primary is two weeks from Tuesday.

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett appears to be the front-runner according to polls, even though he has been outspent by his closest opponent, former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk.

Secretary of State Doug La Follette and state Senator Kathleen Vinehout are considered long shots. Monday's forum is being called ReFund Wisconsin at the Bray Center, 924 Center Street, Racine

TODAY'S TMJ4's reports Governor Walker was also invited to the town hall, but declined.
