Walker ads claim Barrett, Falk raised taxes; Dems strike back
MADISON - The gubernatorial recall race is heating up the airwaves.
Governor Walker has released a pair of ads attacking two of his Democratic opponents in the recall race.
"Barrett raised taxes on working families in seven of the last eight years," claims one Walker ad.
The governor accuses Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett of sending the city backwards, criticizing his record on job creation.
The governor takes similar jabs at former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk.
"Falk raised property taxes every single year...the unemployment rates tripled."
The Falk and Barrett camps are striking back, calling Governor Walker a hypocrite and pointing to state-wide job loss numbers from last year.
