Sunny Thursday before wet weekend in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE - Thursday is expected to bring the last day of sunny skies for some time in Milwaukee, according to Storm Team 4Caster Scott Steele.
"Today begins a transition in our weather and the last dry day for a while," said Scott.
"We'll see abundant sunshine and winds will shift to more of a Southerly direction helping to boost our temperatures above average into the mid 50s."
Scott tells us that a high pressure system moving out of our area will give a storm system a chance to move from the west - bringing wet weather to our area.
"A feed of more moisture will lead to scattered showers through the day on Friday. With enough instability in the atmosphere, thunderstorms should fire up by Friday evening continuing into Saturday."
