2nd wrong-way drunk driver arrested in past week
MILWAUKEE- Milwaukee County sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle that was driving the wrong way on I-94 at 60th Street around 1:55 Tuesday morning.
The driver, 30-year-old Adam Bruno performed a field sobriety test before he was breathalyzed. He blew a .18, more than twice the legal driving limit. This is the second wrong-way drunk driver that has been apprehending in less than one week. The previous incident happened last Friday.
Bruno, who resides in Hales Corners, was arrested for a Class C misdemeanor charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after deputies discovered a marijuana pipe on the floor of his car and a Class G felony of 2nd degree Recklessly Endangering Safety. He was also ticketed for his first OWI.
He is expected to be officially charged on Wednesday.
