PANAMA CITY BEACH, Florida - A vigil is planned for 7 p.m. Monday at Pius XI High School for a UWM student that died on spring break over the weekend.

Panama City Beach police say 21-year-old Jacob Winkler of Menomonee Falls fell to his death from a seventh floor balcony.  The incident at Gulf Crest Condominium, 8715 Surf Drive, was reported around 2 a.m. Saturday.

Police and firefighters say Winkler was pronounced dead at the scene.

No foul play is suspected.

An autopsy, to be performed by the medical examiner's office in Florida, could provide some clue as to what happened.

Panama City Beach police tell Newsradio 620 WTMJ that spring break season lasts from the first week of March until the second week in April and that sadly, something like this tends to happen every year.

Family and friends agreed that he could light up a room the second he entered.
