2 La Crosse officers plead guilty to illegal hunting

LA CROSSE, Wis. (AP) -- Two La Crosse police officers have pleaded guilty to illegally hunting ducks on the Upper Mississippi Wildlife and Fish Refuge.
Prosecutors say Faling Yang and Corrie Korn killed ducks in October 2009 while they were operating a hunting guide company.
The investigation was handled by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
WKBT-TV (http://bit.ly/GRb9ZZ ) says each officer faces a maximum one year in prison and a $100,000 fine when sentenced May 16.
The officers are still on the La Crosse police force.
