Frank Jude Jr., attorneys to hold news conference Tuesday

MILWAUKEE- Frank Jude Jr., and his attorneys are holding a news conference Tuesday in downtown Milwaukee at 2 p.m. to discuss the $2 million settlement between Jude and the city of Milwaukee and MPD's current policies, according to a press release by Jude's attorneys.
"The majority of Milwaukee Police Officers were then, are are today, good people who perform their jobs with professionalism and take their responsibilities serious," said the press release. "The brutal assault of Mr. Jude on October 24, 2004, however was caused by the actions of a few bad police officers, combined with a number of questionable customs, policies and procedures of the Milwaukee Police Department."
According to the release, the group plans to challenge five current MPD policies and customs.
Back on October 24, 2004, Frank Jude Jr. was severely beaten on a street in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood, and the suspects were off-duty Milwaukee police officers.
