Bradley Tech student shot and killed; woman arrested in case

MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee Public Schools district spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday that a student at Bradley Tech High School was the victim of a deadly shooting on the city's north side.
Milwaukee Police say they have arrested a woman following the shooting, which happened just before 10:00 p.m. Tuesday night near the corner of 19th and Finn.
Spokeswoman Roseann St. Aubin tells Newsradio 620 WTMJ's Dan O'Donnell that grief counselors were assisting students at Bradley Tech on Wednesday.
The 16-year-old boy was a sophomore at Bradley Tech. He was was shot in the chest, and died at the scene.
A police spokeswoman said the shooting was not a random act.
It's the second time a Bradley Tech student has been a shot and killed in 2012; the first case happened just after New Year's Day.
