MEQUON - The Ozaukee County District Attorney's Office has charged 18 year old DeAngelo Dantzler and 18-year-old Brent Anderson with a class C. felony of sexual assualt of a child under 16 years of age.
According to the criminal complaint, the 14-year-old girl was a willing participant in sex acts with Dantzler and Anderson in an open practice room before having oral sex with a 15-year-old boy in a hallway.
Furthermore, the complaint alleges that the girl was given alcohol Brent Anderson.
According to the Journal Sentinel, "The police did not arrest them, they're at liberty," District Attorney Adam Gerol said. "When police do not arrest we default to (issuing a summons). We set a court date to come in. That will happen."
If found guilty of the charges, the two students would penalties ranging from probation to a maximum of 40 years and a fine of $100,000, Gerol said.
The 15-year-old boy has not been charged as of Friday evening.
The girl's father said he arrived home on November 10th to find his 14-year-old daughter crying on the couch. The 14-year-old later told her father about an alleged assault on school grounds.
The girl told her father she had oral sex with a 15-year-old boy in boy's locker room.
Then soon after the girl claims two 18-year-old seniors convinced her to drink some liquor and led her down a hallway. "The entire time the boys are opening doors trying to find one that isn't locked," explained the father.
The girl told her father the boys eventually found an empty closet near the band room. Once inside the girl claims the two seniors blocked the door and ordered her to perform a sex act. The father said the boys took turns. "In the end she said how could you do that," explained the father.
He said the boys said they were sorry. The girl said she quickly ran out of the room but returned to get something she left.
She then claims one of the two alleged attackers was waiting. "He followed her in there and that's when he pulled down her pants and raped her," said the father.
Captain Dan Buntrock with Mequon Police said the two sexual assaults are under investigation. "We are still investigating what if any was consensual and what wasn't," explained Buntrock.
The father insisted his daughter was a victim. So far, Mequon Police have arrested the two 18-year-old seniors, the 15-year-old boy from the locker room incident and the 14-year-old alleged victim.
She was cited for drinking on school grounds. The girl's father blames the school and is baffled all of this happened at Homestead High. "I expect them to come home safe and the school owes me that. They dropped the ball," said the father.
The Mequon-Thiensville Superintendent declined to talk on camera, but he did tell TODAY'S TMJ4 reporter Jermont Terry, they are making swift changes to the after school procedure in light of these allegations.
"It's unfortunate," said Tom Hessling, a father who lives in the Mequon/Thiensville district. "It's the world we live in. You'd like to think your children are safer at school, but they're not."
