Rodgers and Larrivee's extended raw interview after Week 6

CREATED Oct. 17, 2011

GREEN BAY - The voice of the Packers Wayne Larrivee talked to Quarterback Aaron Rodgers after their Week Six victory over the Rams in the Packers Pro Shop.

Wayne Larrivee asked Rodgers about the deep pass play to Jordy Nelson that ended up scoring on former Packer Al Harris.

"Those are the fun ones.  You throw a 23-30 yard pass and you get a 90 yard td," said Rodgers.

Larrivee pointed out that the Packers are playing the Vikings next weekend and asked Aaron his feelings on the game.

Rodgers said "it's a special week, a great rivalry... there's been some great battles in recent years."

Then Larrivee brought up the incident after the Lions-49ers game where head coaches Jim Schwartz and Jim Harbaugh nearly got into a fight after the post game handshake.

He asked Aaron Rodgers if he could ever see Packers Coach Mike McCarthy getting into a fight with another coach.

"I'd be surprised if anyone would do something to big Mike like that, but he's too classy, he'd rise above that," Rodgers told Larrivee.

Larrivee asked Aaron about his feelings playing the Vikings when Brett Favre was their Quarterback and the Packers lost the game.

Rodgers said, "Disappointed, we lost the game and played well.  It was frustrating, but I always have respect for the game, and respect for the men who play it."
