MILWAUKEE - Beef brisket or asian fusion? Both spots are keeping it clean in the kitchen. This week we're handing out Blue Ribbon Awards.
Mouthwatering smells great you at "B.B. Q's" on 107th and Brown Deer. Owner Terence Williams tells me "everyone loves our cheesy beans and rice." You might also want to try the brisket and pulled pork. While you wait for your food be sure to take in Williams' wall of honor. Two of Williams' sons served. He's proud of this wall. "This is why every day I get up and go to work. I put everything I have into what I do because they put their lives on the line."
William's is also proud of his business and works hard to keep a clean kitchen. "For me I have to do it right, every day." For that "B.B. Q's" gets our first Blue Ribbon Award.
Our next stop, historic Walker's Point. "Juto" at 6th and Virginia just opened. They're serving up asian fusion. "We do smaller plates..so people can try different things and kind of share," owner Tommy Angelo pointed out.
A good menu and a clean kitchen. "People .. want their food coming out of a clean kitchen, so that's definitely a priority for us," Angelo told us. For that "Juto" gets our second Blue Ribbon Award.
