Victims of plane crash identified
WISCONSIN DELLS - The pilot of a small plane that crashed near the Wisconsin Dells this week has been identified.
Police say 64 year old Richard Reinbolt lived in Wisconsin Dells.
He was at the controls when the plane that he built from a kit went down shortly after take-off from the Reedsburg Municipal Airport on Thursday.
That's about 50 miles northwest of Madison.
Reinbolt's father in law, 81 year old Thomas Waterman Thompson of Tucson, Arizona, was also killed in the crash.
They were the only two on board the plane.
Reedsburg police say the plane appeared to develop engine problems and dropped quickly in a trucking yard, less than a mile from the airport.
