GILLETT - Nearly $1300 has been offered as a reward for a quilt stolen from a 10-year-old girl at the Oconto County Fair.

The quilt was stolen from a table where other quilts were being displayed at the fair. It was a blue ribbon-winner for 10-year-old Elizabeth, who says it took her two years to make.

Elizabeth says she doesn't want anyone to be in trouble, but asks for the quilt to be returned. She says it is special because she "made it with [her] Grandma."

A Facebook post from NBC26  explains that Elizabeth had originally offered a $20 reward for the quilt. Since then, The Oconto County Fair Board has added a $250 reward, and Crimestoppers has added an additional $1000.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Elizabeth's quilt, you can contact her at a phone number displayed in the Facebook post linked above.
