Tornado and Flash Flood Watches in effect

CREATED Jul 19, 2011

7:48 p.m. -- The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for our southern three counties: Racine, Kenosha and Walworth.  The watch is in effect until 1 a.m. Thursday.  A Tornado Warning is currently in effect in western Illinois.  We'll be watching the system as it approaches our area.

There is also a Flash Flood Watch in effect for Racine, Kenosha and Walworth counties.  Storms that are expected to move through the area are also expected to bring very heavy rainfall and could produce flash flooding.

Stay tuned to TODAY'S TMJ4 and Newsradio 620 WTMJ for further updates and possible warnings.
