Both Packers, Brewers logos came from college student artists

It appears you can credit then-college students for the most iconic logo in the National Football League (sorry, Dallas Cowboys fans) and one of the most popular logos in baseball.
A writer for the publication Whirled Affairs credits John Gordon, who attended St. Norbert College at the time, with creating the artwork that began on the 1961 Green Bay Packers helmets.
That logo enters its 53rd year on the Packers' headwear.
The G is still with the Packers, and Gordon is again with St. Norbert's, as a teacher.
It just so happens the Milwaukee Brewers ball-and-glove logo was also created by a college student from UW-Eau Claire.
The Brewers say Tom Meindel created the logo in the late 1970's. It's still considered the most popular of any Brewers logo today.
