LAMBEAU FIELD - Packers fans got a chance to get up close and personal with Packers coaches and players Wednesday.
The team took a break from its busy schedule to sit down to a Welcome Back Luncheon with fans at Lambeau Field.
It's the 50th year for the event. During the luncheon, Coach McCarthy shared his thoughts on the upcoming season.
"It's a great event, from the standpoint that you don't know which Packer or Packers coach is going to be sitting with you," said Michael White with the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. "It's totally a random selection."
The event was first held when Vince Lombardi was coaching the Packers. It's been a yearly tradition ever since.
