  • The evening commute will be quite interesting around the Milwaukee area.

  • Things are progressing as we forecasted. It is raining in Milwaukee. Heavy rains now moving in from the south. You could hear some rumbles of thunder.

  • Heavy snow is from Fond du Lac, West Bend, Beaver Dam through Watertown and Madison. Those areas have picked up anywhere from 6 to 10 inches to snow. They will not see any of this rain.

  • We will wait for this snow to take over. That will happen late afternoon, into the early evening hours, probably sometime after 4:00 p.m.

  • You'll see snow mixing in towards Waukesha, after 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Eventually, everyone's going to start to see the snow.

  • We'll end up with about 2", 3", 4" of snow in Milwaukee and points south.

  • Snow will gradually taper off out west. They will still pick up another 1"-2" from 6:00 p.m. until midnight tonight. The heaviest snow will be from Waukesha to Milwaukee, down to the south.

  • As colder temperatures nove in tonight, that will freeze up very quickly, and you'll end up with a slippery driveway.
