Storm Team 4: Cooler, windy Thursday with p.m. rain in Milwaukee

  • Low pressure is stacked from the surface through the upper levels of the atmosphere. When this occurs it's very slow to move away.

  • That means the associated clouds and rain will remain stuck around our region right through Friday evening. The strong cold front that passed through yesterday sent our temperatures tumbling in a big way.

  • After yesterday's highs near 70 degrees, readings will be hard pressed to reach 50 degrees today and tomorrow. Winds will remain rather blustery, as well.

  • At this point, timing looks to be on track for clearing, plenty of sunshine, dry conditions, and moderating temperatures for the upcoming weekend.
