  • "We may catch a break from the rain midday before a cold front brings a second chance for rain and thunderstorms again this afternoon. Some storms could be strong, but most of us will see a good quarter to a half an inch of rain."

Jesse tells us that the chances for rain will fall by the time most of us go to bed, and by the time we wake up, skies should be mostly clear.

"Much drier and cooler air pushes in for Thursday with the return of the sunshine and 70s."

  • She explains, however, that rain could come back by the start of the weekend.

"Friday the cloud cover will increase a bit, and there is a slight chance for a few spotty showers or even a thunderstorm in the afternoon but accumulation will be light."
