  • MILWAUKEE - A couple of small ripples in the atmosphere will be passing overhead today and tomorrow leading to an increase in cloudiness compared to yesterday's beautiful blue skies.

  • Even with the clouds there will be some filtered sunshine today and more tomorrow. With so much dry air in place at the surface, any precipitation seems highly unlikely, though a few flurries wouldn't be out of the question, especially tomorrow.

  • A gradual moderation in the mercury begins today and will continue through the weekend. Look for temperatures climb through the 40s during the next several days, eventually reaching about 50 degrees by the weekend.

  • Today: Filtered sunshine and warmer | High: Near 44 | Wind: S 7-12 mph

  • Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy and more seasonal | Low: Near 31 | Wind: SSW 5-10 mph

  • Thursday: Partly cloudy and warmer | High: Near 48 | Wind: SW 7-12 mph

  • Thursday night: Mainly clear to partly cloudy and seasonal | Low: Near 32 | Wind: SW-NW 5-10 mph

  • Friday: Sunny and mild | High: Near 48
