Oconomowoc and Wisconsin Lutheran put up 166 points Friday night.
No, a basketball game didn't break out between the schools as the TODAY'S TMJ4 Friday Football Frenzy cameras rolled overhead. Nor did they play Australian rules, where teams regularly put up more than 100 points.
This was a good-old fashioned barn-burner, but beyond what anyone could have ever expected. It set an all-time Wisconsin high school football record for most points in a game.
Social media recounted the point-piling drama at Oconomowoc Friday night, where the Raccoons beat the Vikings 84-82.
Well "Oconomowoc" and 'Wisconsin Lutheran" have one thing in common. No "D".— Armen Saryan (@ArmenSaryan) September 28, 2013

Holy crap just saw the Oconomowoc-Wisco score. Would hate to be the defensive coordinators. #wisfb— Brady Stiff (@BradyStiff) September 28, 2013
That oconomowoc game was insane. One I won't ever forget that's for sure— Mason Yahr (@mason_yahr10) September 28, 2013
Given my love for low-scoring games, if I was at Oconomowoc's 84-82 victory over Wis. Lutheran, my head would probably explode.— Andrew Horschak (@SchakKN) September 28, 2013
