A defending WIAA Division 1 football champion will go for their second straight title in an all-Milwaukee area championship.
Hartland Arrowhead, who won the title in 2012, will take on Franklin on Friday, Nov. 22 at Camp Randall Stadium.
DIVISION 1: Hartland Arrowhead vs. Hudson in Stevens Point
Last year’s Division 1 champions, the Arrowhead Warhawks, went into battle against Hudson in Steven’s Point.
To nobody’s surprise, Arrowhead has been a major force all year and they only proved why once again on Friday.
Arrowhead would win big over Hudson, 38-14.
DIVISION 1: Franklin vs. Mukwonago at Kettle Moraine High School
The reigning Team of the Week on the Frenzy came into Friday on a roll following big wins over Sun Prairie and Oconomowoc.
The upstart Indians looked to keep the party going against Franklin on Friday night, but the Sabers had plans in mind.
Franklin took control of this one and would book their date with destiny. They’ll be the last line of defense against an Arrowhead repeat for the Division 1 championship. The Sabers roll against Mukwonago, 35-8.
DIVISION 2: Kimberly vs. Waukesha West at UW-Oshkosh
It has been an amazing ride for running back Elijah Fort and the Waukesha West Wolverines, who ran over nearly every opposing defense that came their way.
The pack of Wolverines made their way to UW-Oshkosh with one game separating them and the Division 2 championship game.
In that one game, northern powerhouse Kimberly awaited.
The Papermakers, led by running back Blair Mulholland’s 198 yards, went on to beat the Wolverines 21-10 and advance to the Division 2 championship.
DIVISION 3: Greendale vs. Appleton Xavier at Slinger High School
The Greendale Panthers have been a force to be reckoned with this year, but there are two things that they haven’t done yet this season - win the championship or lose.
The Panthers departed for Slinger for their matchup against Xavier.
The Xavier defense had a hard time containing quarterback Josh Ringelberg and company as the still-undefeated Panthers advance into the Division 3 championship game with a 44-20 win.
