Florida Atlantic University student Adam Fisk, 22, shared what he dubbed his recent "South Florida sleigh ride" on YouTube as he hooked an 11-foot hammerhead while fishing in his kayak near Boynton Beach, Fla. Fisk was unexpectedly dragged an estimated 12 miles over the course of the next two hours.
In his five-minute clip, Fisk can even be seen dunking his GoPro camera in the ocean so you can view the shark for yourself. He appropriately titled the video, "Lone Man Gets Towed for Miles in Kayak by 11 Foot Hammerhead Shark."
"It would do a 180-degree turn and come straight back at me and that rally scared me because I couldn't see it and I didn't know if it was coming to bite me," Fisk shares with Reuters.
Fisk's unexpected fish journey ended in Lake Worth, Fla., after he finally cut it loose.
