Justin Timberlake revisited his 'N SYNC glory days at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Fla., March 4 with an unexpected performance of 'N SYNC's second single, "Gone," off their third (and final) album, "Celebrity."
In a sentimental walk down popstar memory lane, Timberlake said onstage, "One of my very best friends, I've spent so much time with in the last couple of weeks, he's come out on tour with me -- my brother Chris Kirpatrick," affectionately referring to another former 'N Sync member. "Chris, I love you man."
Before surprising the Timberlake-loving crowd with "Gone," Timberlake further explained, "Now up until last year, this building was the last 'N Sync performance. So, there's a lot of history for me in this building." Last year, 'N Sync reunited in Brooklyn, N.Y., for a medley of "Gone," "Girlfriend" and "Bye Bye Bye" before Timberlake was awarded the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards.
