Ron's Forecast For Friday, August 22nd, 2014

A heat dome/ridge of high pressure is budiling across the Southeastern US, and that will take our temperatures into the mid to upper 90s over the next few days. With the humidity, heat indicies will hit 100 in many locations Now -Sunday.  We will see a few scattered storms with a 20% rain chance Saturday and 30% chances Sunday & Monday.  Our hottest day for the last two years has been 97 degrees. We could top or tie that on Saturday.  Highs go down a couple of degrees, to the low 90s Monday and finally return to the 80s around Thursday.
