8 large navel oranges
3/4 c sugar
1 1/2 cs grated coconut
Additional fresh fruits like pineapple chunks, grapes, kiwi slices or pomegranate seeds, optional
Peel the oranges and carefully remove the orange sections, cutting away all the white membrane. If you are in a hurry, just slice the peeled oranges into rounds, then in half. Toss with sugar and coconut in a large bowl, add additional fruit as you like. Chill before serving.
