RECIPE # 4888 PBJ STEAK SANDWICH Tue. Sept. 11, 2012

5 Tbsp olive oil

1 pound of flank steak thinly sliced or shaved prime rib

Salt and pepper to taste

1 julien red pepper

1 green pepper

1 medium onion

1 Tbsp minced garlic

1 Tbsp ground ginger

2 tsp red pepper flakes

4 ounces spreadable cream cheese

4 hoagie rolls

 

 Stir and cook until thickened.  

 

 

In a small bowl stir together, soy sauce, pepper jelly and peanut butter. In another small bowl stir together cornstarch and water. Add to soy mixture. Set aside.

Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sauté onion and bell peppers until they are translucent. Sprinkle salt and pepper on meat. Add shaved flank steak or shaved prime rib and sauté to the desired doneness. Add soy PBJ mixture.

Grill hoagie roll. Spread cream cheese on one side of hoagie. Add PBJ Steak and enjoy!

1/2 cup of red pepper jelly 

2 tsp of cornstarch

1/3 cup of water
