RECIPE # 5121 - TACO DIP & SAUSAGE PIZZA ROLLS - Wenesday, January 26, 2014

Jim Buck's Taco Dip

Ingredients:
 1 lb. Purnell's "Old Folks" Chorizo Sausage
1 14 oz. Can Refried Beans
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 Cup Your Favorite Salsa
8 oz. Shredded Mexican Blend Cheese

Directions Brown and drain the chorizo. Spread beans in a 8″ X 11″ casserole or equivalent container. Crumble the chorizo over the beans. Cover beans with the sour cream. Cover the sour cream with the salsa. Spread the cheese on top of it all and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Then enjoy with your favorite nacho chips.

Easy Sausage Pizza Rolls

Ingredients:A square pizza dough in a roll – you can find it where canned biscuits are sold
1 cup of marinara or pizza sauce
1 lb Purnell's "Old Folks" Italian Sausage, crumbled, cooked and drained
1 1/2 cup fine grated mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1-2 teaspoons dried garlic or Italian seasoning

Directions

Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle.  Spread sauce and cover with cooked sausage and cheese.
Roll dough into a log and cut log into 1" slices.

Bake at 425 for about 12 minutes, or until browned. Let cool for 3-5 minutes. Serve with pizza sauce for dipping!
