RECIPE # 5063 BLT BRUSCHETTA Thu. Aug., 29, 2013

3 medium ripe tomatoes, diced 

1 tbs finely diced onion

2 tbs olive oil

1/4 cup vinegar

1 tsp  sugar

1 tsp minced garlic

Salt, pepper and fresh basil to taste

one loaf crusty bread, sliced & toasted 

four pieces cooked bacon, chopped

mayonnaise or salad dressing

fresh lettuce

Preparation: 

Combine all bruschetta ingredients in a large bowl, set aside.  Spread mayonnaise onto each slice of bread and top with a piece of lettuce.  Add a spoonful of tomato mixture, and top with crumbled bacon.  Serve immediately.
