2 lbs. Loveless Café Biscuit Mix
1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
½ cup parsley, fresh, chopped
½ cup green onions, fresh, chopped
2 Tbsp thyme, fresh
3 cups buttermilk
-Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
-Pour buttermilk into large bowl.
-Add mix and begin folding.
-Before dough is evenly mixed, add in herbs and parmesan.
-Continue mixing, until a smooth dough is formed. Do not knead!
-Roll out dough to ½" thick and cut into biscuits, placing them onto a greased or parchment-covered sheet pan. The sides of the biscuits should be touching.
-Dough may be re-worked, and kneaded briefly once before cutting into extra biscuits (these will rise higher than the initial biscuits).
-Bake biscuits for 10-15 minutes, rotating once about half way through.
-Allow to cool slightly before serving.
TIP: Feel free to substitute your favorite fresh herbs for a signature biscuit of your own!
