It was a very good year for Sandra Bullock. She may not have won the Oscar for her work in "Gravity," but the movie made her the highest-paid actress for the past year.
Forbes magazine released its annual list of highest-paid actresses on Monday. The 50-year-old Bullock was at the top of the list with $51 million in earnings between June 2013 and June 2014.
The mega blockbuster "Gravity" made $716 million at the box office and earned seven Oscars. Bullock was nominated for Best Actress, but lost to "Blue Jasmine" star Cate Blanchett.
Bullock's other 2013 movie "The Heat" with Melissa McCarthy, also did well, earning near $230 million worldwide.
Jennifer Lawrence, 23, earned the No. 2 spot on the list. Her movies included "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire." She also earned an Oscar nod for "American Hustle." Lawrence earned $34 million for her hard work.
Jennifer Aniston wasn't far behind Lawrence with $31 million. Aniston starred in "We're the Millers" and also collected money from endorsement deals with Vitamin Water and Aveeno, which makes skin products.
