Husband fatally shoots wife, turns gun on himself in New Jersey Hospital
A man has killed his wife after shooting her and then himself inside of a hospital room on the second floor of Kennedy University Hospital in Stratford, New Jersey. The gunshots were reportedly heard by medical staff at 10:10 a.m. ET Wednesday.
Raymond Wychowanec, 63, entered his 62-year-old wife Denise's second floor hospital room around 9:25 a.m. ET.
Kennedy University Hospital was placed on lockdown.
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office has now confirmed that a body has been found in the Glendora, New Jersey home of the couple. Investigators have not yet released information linking the person's death to the hospital shooting.
"Police say the husband is still alive and is being flown to Cooper University Hospital," reports 6 ABC. "His exact condition was not immediately known."
