Hank Williams' Daughter Arrested For DUI In Lebanon
LEBANON, Tenn. – The daughter of the late Hank Williams was arrested for DUI in Lebanon early Tuesday morning.
Lebanon police stopped a 1998 tan Jaguar for suspicion of DUI around 2:30 a.m. after observing the vehicle swerve between lanes along North Cumberland Street.
The driver was identified as Jett Williams Adkinson, age 61, who told officers she was the daughter of Hank Williams, Sr.
Officers said Adkinson smelled of alcohol and had slurred speech. She allegedly admitted to officers that she had two beers, and failed field sobriety tests.
Adkinson, who listed a Hartsville address, was arrested on DUI charges and issued citations for not wearing a seatbelt and not having proof of current insurance. She was later released on $1,000 bond.
